Extruding letters on a spline curve not working

Hello and I'm sorry for this very simple problem. I have watched YouTube videos and have tried to duplicate the operations but I'm not getting the results I need.

I'm attempting to engrave a simple name using into a piece of wood. In fusion I create and inner and outer circle . I select text and select the inner circle. The text ruction does open and I apply the name. I close out the text then the sketch pallet options. I select extrude but Fusion can't see the letters and I get an error when I try to select the text. There is no explanation in error box.

In the videos I've seen they make it look very easy.

Note: the inner and outer circles are not extruded and it was shown in the videos.

Thank you for your help to this problem.

Please attach your model and a link to the video you are speaking of.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

I do not see any issues with Extruding the text in your file.  Clarify what you are seeing.

If you are trying to Extrude the text in this file, I do not see any issues with this one either.

The extruding function does not work in either drawing. I select the extruding function then select the letters and when I either pull up or down OR enter numerically I get an error message " cannot compete this extrusion"

I do not know what to tell you, as you can see in my earlier post and this one, the Extrude command works fine on your model text.  Maybe it is time to use the Fusion 360 Service Utility to Repair your installation.
