Extrude operations not showing up

I whats trying to use the cut operation during an extrusion but when I clicked the operation drop down menu my only options are 'New Body' or "New Component'. Any idea how to get them to show? I just downloaded the program if that helps.

Are you working with surfaces? Only solid bodies will extrude cut.

@gennette3024MLXGF - can you share your model here?  As @wmhazzard says, if you don't have any solid bodies in your design, you will not see Cut or Join options in Extrude

I have a solid object, but when i select text to extrude i don't have the from object option

You need to attach an f3d file of your model otherwise there is not much else that we can do.
