Extrude from object is not working since July 21 update

Previously I could use sketch text command make text, extrude it by.5 mm then make the extrusion from from an object face, I am using this it write my companies name in the sides of bodies, however now when doing this it just extrudes from the text plane to the body, rather than from the objected selected.  Also the saving options for STLs from a body seem to have changed, any help is greatly appreciated 🙂

"Save as STL" is not removed, but renamed as "Save As Mesh". It should have the same functionality, but also can save 3mfs.

The problem occures if a surface of the body is already activated when starting the extrusion menu.
Then you have to deactivate it first and then select the font and then the extrusion options.
