Extrude default changed to new body with current update

Hey team,

looks like the newest update changed the default extrude type from "join" to "new body".

Any way to revert that? This change is really annoying and highly disruptive to my workflow as I have to go back a couple operations every half hour, wondering why certain operations fail, only to find out it's happening because I suddenly have 7 bodies instead the one I intend to have

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file that illustrates this issue to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Sure can do, but just to confirm: This is a "me" problem and not happening to other people?

It happens, but I think I can explain the logic of when/why/where it happens.

... I was just trying to reproduce the issue to capture a small video and now it's just joining by default again?!

I struggled with this half of today and nearly threw my mouse out the window

If you run into the issue again, attach the file here if you can.
