Extrude cut only partially cutting model

Hi, I am a high schooler learning Fusion 360 for Vex Robotics.

For some reason when I make a sketch on a surface of a C Channel and then extrude it to cut off a piece of the C Chan, it only cuts a certain part of the C Chan. From what I've learned about Fusion so far, you need to break link the object from the original it was copied and pasted from. But for me, my C Channels neither show that they are linked nor give me the option to break link. I have looked at other forum pages with similar issues but I still couldn't figure out how to fix this problem.

please share the file and tell us which sketch should cut which body.

File > export > savers f3d on local drive > attach to next post

Hi, alright here is the file for this project. I made this specifically to demonstrate my issue so there is only one sketch in the file "Sketch1". The bar I am trying to cut is "2x C-Chan Alu v1 (1):1" (the second object I added to the file). I don't have the option to break link with this bar and when I try cutting it as you can see in the picture of my original post it only cuts a certain part of it for some reason.

Edit: also I am not sure if this information is necessary but my license for f360 is an education license.

You did not select enough profile regions.  You need to select the outer area, as well

That fixed my problem! The bar cuts properly now. Much thanks
