Exporting empty .f3d files

Hi, I wonder if anyone could shed any light on this.

I'm exporting my work in progress to a local folder as .f3d files. However when i go to open from that destination Fusion just opens a blank new project. Am i doing something very obviously wrong!?

I created a video of the step by step process of Exporting a Fusion 360 "File" to a local folder on my computer and then opening it back up.  This process is for a file not a project.  If you are seeing something different, record a video of your own and posted it.
