Support,

Please can you create a simple extruded sketch and export it to a "Dxf" file.

Now, please open the Dxf file in AutoCAD.

You should see that the geometry is "Upside Down".

Can I please ask if you are getting the same results?

Many thanks in advance!

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Also Attach your resulting dxf file.

Hi,

Many thanks for the reply!

Please see the attached files, as requested.

I have noticed this problem on many Fusion 360 files that I have exported. I have opened these in AutoCAA and mirrored the Dxf file to show the correct orientation.

Are you getting the same results?

Kind Regards

Darren

In Fusion you have modeled on the XZ plane.  (Forget the word Front on the view cube - that is meaningless - you can call anything the Front.)

dxf file comes in on the XY plane in AutoCAD.

What if you model on the XY plane in Fusion?  Do you then get the expected dxf in AutoCAD?
