Error when installing Fusion: "[Ernno 13] Permission denied"

I'm getting a "permission denied" error message when trying to install Fusion on Mac OS Monterrey

I'm guessing other people have had this issue and would appreciate if someone can link me to those forum posts if so

Wondering if this is some kind of "app downloaded from the internet" error message and Mac is just denying it because it doesn't recognize the developer?
