it looks like leftovers from one of your surprise "free trial" evaluation things that happened (without my consent) when I clicked a wrong item in a menu some moths ago?

The exact same thing is happening to me. I reinstalled my whole computer and even switched motherboards but it still keeps happening.

@OceanHydroAU @k1lb553cs Apologies for the late reply but if you are still facing this issue please do the following: 

  • Close Fusion
  • Go to Media Feature pack for Windows
  • For the Windows version their machine is select the right media pack
  • Install media pack
  • Restart machine (not sure if this is needed but worth recommending)
  • Launch Fusion

hi Rajkumar, are jou sure that  Media feature pack for windows has something to do whit this error? have your thy this out by yourself? i have Windows 10 pro N version 22H2 what is not in the list. and this error came with an update from fusion 360 e few months ago.

Who has the same problem?

Add media feature must don on my system on an other place.

Start->System-> add features

How do you fix this on the Mac version? I did a complete clean uninstall, and am still getting the error.

Can you please try this?

1. Logout and Close Fusion
2. Go to Launchpad - Uninstall Fusion
3. Go to 

  • Macintosh HD>Users>(username)>Library>Application Support>Autodesk>Autodesk Fusion 360>
  1. DELETE the following folders – Webdeploy, Web Services, Identity services, Autodesk Fusion 360 ((IF you do not have any other Autodesk products installed, delete the Full Autodesk folder) 
  2. Delete the Fusion launch icon (from desktop or where you have it)
  3. Restart the Mac
  4. Download the installer again
  5. Now install Fusion

That worked!

Removing the directory, then rebooting, then reinstalling it seems to have fixed it. Last time I did a clean install without rebooting, and it did not fix it.

Is this the only solution, by reinstalling Fusion on Mac? I I'm tired of constantly reinstalling Fusion whenever there are problems.
I have the same problem.

It was sufficient enough to use the Service Utility and and make use of the Repair function.
