When reviewing fasteners, split washers you have an issue between the dialog and the physical part inserted. I have included two screen captures.

1) The dialog shows the split washer open, there should be an option of the washer closed. The washer is shown incorrectly. when open the edges of the split are parallel to each other. This comes during manufacture when the are cut .

2) The washer when inserted into the drawing is closed, not open as it was in the dialog. The spilt at this this point is where the angle should be that creates the bite to lock the washer

What needs to be done is to ask the user if the want the washer compressed or not and display the correct image. you had this capability in the early 90's in AutoCAD by Design Pacifica Parametric Library. I know because I co-wrote the library. The correct size is important  because simulation the mass/weight if off can impact production. Imagine a turbine engine being simulated, then built. The engine self destructs because of the wrong mass calculation of the fasteners. This actually happen with our competitor libraries.

Hi @rcroeder,
thanks for message.

The image for the dialog box aligns with the standard for displaying general information about what is being inserted. At present, we only insert fasteners in the working state; this state is also reflected in our 3D tile view images.

However, it's unclear which inaccuracy you're referring to. Could you please provide more details?
Also please define workflow where is useful to insert washer in open state.
