Error boost:filesystem:status: Access is Denied

I'm getting the below error when I try to open some of the assemblies in our project. This has just started happening in the last week or two, and only on two assemblies thus far.

The file it seems to be referring to: "RAS_UVSMSPRING" is a derived component I use in a lot of my assemblies.

Users/Brian is a different user account than the one I am currently using (up until recently I was forced to do my work on that account, same pc; but that's a different story). And I do not have access to that account any longer.

This error accompanied the drawing linked to the same assembly, when I tried to open it.

Sounds like something to be solved using the "Resolve External Components" preview feature. Look for it under Preferences->Preview features

Well, that was a nice idea,  but that feature did not change the outcome.

Hi @buckbMSXUR,

Were you able to resolve this issue? When you enabled the missing xref preview, what was the outcome? Was there an error? Did the file not open?

Thanks,

John

I was not able to resolve this. Enabling 'Resolve External Components' did nothing; the original error persists (presumably because that feature is only useful if the assembly is open), and I am unable to open the file.
