I successfully embossed this body several times. Now the emboss is being created on the wrong axis and I have no clue how to fix it. Any help would be awesome. wtfsketch.PNG

Hi,

On which surface should the embossing be made?

I'm trying to emboss to cut the part. Here's the earlier one I did without issue after printing:

Red is the direction I need it to go, but it's trying to go where the blue is:

I closed, reopened, and tried again. Now I don't even get the XYZ and tilt arrows. Also tried on a completely new file and get the same thing.

I think you are missing the DeBoss selection button in the Emboss command dialog box.

It was since I closed and reopened. Reinstalled and that box is back, but when I select the sketch text and face, the XYZ and dialog box for distance don't come up.

I go through the process in the Screencast, which I am sure you have done ten times, but maybe I did something different.  You say you reinstalled, did you do a Clean Uninstall first?  If you did not, then that would be a recommendation.  Before doing that, after you reinstalled did you Restart your computer?  This is critical to reset the registers between the application and the computer.  Good Luck.

Thanks! Clean uninstall worked. Back up running as expected.

It worked once, I got one made, then when I tried it again, same thing. Did another clean reinstall, not working now.
