Email address invite to a project is case sensitive. Not usually an issue but when copying a lot of addresses from outlook, it gets irritating quickly.

Hi @esumft

Thanks for posting! I tried reproducing this today and found that I could not reproduce the issue - when inviting a GMAIL address from both my personal and team hubs, it went through regardless of capitalization.

Are you receiving any screenshots or error messaging when the capitalization issue occurs? This could be a unique issue on your end - please record a screencast if you can create a project, invite an email address with some capitalization errors (and have the email not show), then create another project and invite the email with the correct capitalization showing the invitation email. Seeing the problem in a video may help me find anywhere where my workflow differed from yours.

Please let me know if you have any questions - I'm happy to assist.

Hey Paul,

Thanks for the reply!

I've tried this with some other emails now, and it's a strange one. So, if you try to add an email in the format:

[email protected] - This works.

Remove the email from the project.

[email protected] - This works.

However if you try to add an email with a capital that you have not added before, it does not work.

Screencast coming.

Hi @esumft

Thanks for the response and the screencast. I was able to reproduce with this information - I was testing from the web browser earlier and wonder if you could work around this problem by inviting project members through myhub.autodesk360.com rather than the Data Panel.

I agree that this is an inconvenience and found a ticket (internal reference ATEAM-8721)in the development teams backlog to provide a future fix.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
