Editing missing reference point

I made a change in my design that resulted in a missing reference point. When I try to fix the joint, I am stuck with a missing reference point. The remaining valid reference point can be modified by clicking on the X besides it. Why is there isn't any X besides the missing reference point. Is my only resort to delete the whole thing and start anew?

Similarly, in other functions with many items selected, it seems that we can't edit the group. Let says 15 lines are selected, if I want to add a another line afterwards, it doesn't look like the group can be edited. We need to click the X besides the 15 selected and re-click all the lines again.

Is this a limitation of Fusion or I am missing a simple command completely?

I think the answer to both is the same:  you have to activate that field in the UI before you can do anything with it.  In the case of the missing point in the Joint command, click on that field and you can select a new point.  I'm not sure what command you are referring to with the "15 lines" part, but my guess is the same - activate that field and you can click on more items.  Depending on the command (if it has a preview or not), you may have to hold down CTRL (CMD on Mac) to add/remove selected items.  Below is a quick screencast showing how I repair a joint:

Thanks Jeff. I was missing to hold control button part. Not very intuitive but now I know!
