Edit plane after moving source component

I created a plane based on a face of a component, and I have created sketches and patterns based on that plane. I had to later move that component, and it's preventing me from editing the associated sketches and patterns. I could avoid this if I could edit the individual bodies of the pattern, but since the pattern starting point is the sketch from that plane, I can't edit the pattern and I can't separate the bodies from the pattern.

I'd love to be able to edit the plane and then adjust the pattern, but when I edit the pattern it reverts the component to the old position, so there's no way for me to adjust the plane to the new position. I guess I can go back a few dozen steps but would rather figure out how to either:

a) edit the plane so I can adjust the sketch and pattern

b) edit the individual bodies created by the pattern

Any suggestions?

Can you please attach your model so the Forum users can take a look at it.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Not sure if I completely understand the question, but, I think this is important;  ''I had to later move that component" (emphasis is mine).  Because the component move happens after the offset plane, then, yes, when editing the offset, that component move will be rolled back.  The way, then, to make this work better is:  put the component move before the offset feature.  So, roll the end of the timeline to before the offset, do the component move, then roll back to the end.
