Edit in place makes other components disappear!

Hello, I have a simple assembly of a CNC router, with a table component and a gantry component. when I click on the "edit in place" icon on the gantry, it opens the component for editing as it should, making the table component wireframe. but when I click on one of joints in the timeline to edit it (to move some component in relation to another component in the table), the table component disappear... even clicking on cancel in the joint dialog, still doesn't not bring it back. only when existing the edit in place mode, and returning to the parent component, all components become visible as they should.

I haven't seen anything like that before when working in edit in place, as this issue is actually preventing joining or referencing any components from one sub assembly to another, as you can't see the other one...

Anyone has any ideas whats going on?

I can reproduce this. It might be a current limitation or a bug.

This looks like normal timeline operation.

• Edit in Place doesn't make any parts disappear.
• Going back in time will make parts disappear (that's how time travel works)

No, I don't think that's what is happening. I created a screen recording of one of my assemblies.

When I EIP the LED head, I not that the components in that assembly also turn transparent.

The LED head is also further down the browser in the assembly.

When I then edit a joint everything but the LED head disappears.

When I close the joint-edit dialogue, the rest of the assembly does not re-appear.

Only when I finish EIP does everything go back to normal.

Thanks @TrippyLighting for the effort in clarifying! this is exactly what I'm seeing, and has nothing to do with the timeline as you clearly shown as well. thanks @Phil.E for following up!
