Early Adopter unable to Auto renew failed, Now I'm asked to pay full price for the subscription

At some point I made the jump from the Startup licence to paid subscriber for Fusion/Eagle as a part of the Early Adopter program. When the program first started there was an introductory thread in the forum and someone was concerned about what would happen if the subscription expired, like say your credit card was declined for auto renew. We were assured that if that were to happen, we would be taken care of.

That time came for me today. My card was declined (long cancelled card through my fallow Paypal account) Somehow I missed 8 attempts to charge the card.

I do acknowledge I missed the one email I got on Oct 28th that the billing had failed. The next communication I got was that the subscription had expired.

I certainly was expecting a warning in Fusion 360 that the subscription was in danger of expiring, or that the billing had failed. In case you were looking for it, that type of warning apparently does not exist.

I have a support case logged today, hopefully they can resolve it. I don't make a lot of money with Fusion, so the Early adopter pill is easier to swallow!

Currently the agent is waiting to hear back from @James.Youmatz

Hi @mad.macs ,

Thanks for the tag - just got in today and saw the message from your Case Agent, David, as well as this forum post. I will take a peek today, but I do have a few questions for you direct. Please feel free to cc me on your email chains - james.youmatz@autodesk.com. Not to worry though, we will sort through this together ASAP.

Thanks,

Thanks so much!

My journey with Fusion 360 has been a fantastic one! It's amazing how it has become such a powerful tool over the years. The support staff is also pretty amazing!
