Fusion has a lot of issues in exporting splines in a way that many other programs can interpret due to the 5 degree vs 3 degree spline implementation.

Autodesks "Fix" for this issue has been to have people rely on an independently developed app called "Spline to polyline."  This app no longer works and gives this error message.

Failed:

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "C:/Users/danot/AppData/Roaming/Autodesk/ApplicationPlugins/DXFSplineToPolyline.bundle/Contents/DXFSplineToPolyline.py", line 194, in exportDxf

newDxfContent = replaceDxf(spline_polyline_map, dxfContent)

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

File "C:/Users/danot/AppData/Roaming/Autodesk/ApplicationPlugins/DXFSplineToPolyline.bundle/Contents/DXFSplineToPolyline.py", line 84, in replaceDxf

for eachVertexItem in spline_polyline_map[mapIndex]:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^^^^^^^^^^
KeyError: 2
How can Autodesk spend so many resources developing aspects of this program that are incredibly niche but neglect such simple things as having export DXFs function well and having an independent app as the "solution"??? It's so insane. This app has been not working for years.
Are there any ways to export splines so other programs can interpret them?
I'm not having any trouble using the add-in.
Can you try re-installing it?
@danotranto Can you share a f3d file so we can reproduce the issue?
