DXF fit point export problems

In the past I have been able to export sketches to DXF and then open them up in Inkscape. After the most recent Fusion360 update my DXF exports no longer contain valid splines. I have tried using the Spline To Polyline Add-in, but that too fails to export the splines. Line segments come across just fine, but for the fit point splines only the start and end points are exported.

I exported your supplied sketch as a DXF and then opened it in AutoCAD.  The DXF does contain splines which are of a Control Vertices type.  You mentioned at one point it did not export splines and a another point you mentioned Fit Point Splines.  If you cannot use Control Vertices splines, then you are correct but it does export splines.  Below is a screen capture from AutoCAD.

Thank you.

I am still not sure why I was able to easily export DXF files to my vector app last month but was unable to do so this time around. Anyway, I used the Spline to Polyline add-in, then changed the line weight and now I am able to open the resulting DXF.

I'm having the same problem with control point splines.  I had no problem sketches as .dxf files and opening them up in other programs for use on the laser cutter or plasma cutter.  Recently not all splines export correctly, they go missing in other programs.  If I re-import the dxf back into fusion360, the program sees all splines. Again, other programs don't see all splines

The problem is a lot of low end programs can only read degree 3 splines. Depending on which type of spline you make in Fusion and how many points you can end up with higher degree splines.

Rhino has no problem with your DXF but I expect your program can't read the degree 5 splines. There was a change made to the way fusion exports spline so now you can re import and they are still editable but it means you get more degree 5 splines in exports. Really this is a problem for the other programs to fix as there's nothing really wrong with the DXF files from Fusion.
