DWG. Title Block Jumps When I Quick Add A New Page

I made a DWG. title block template using RHINO and have brought it into fusion 360 perfectly. I lined it up and everything is fine. I started a new drawing with this template and my first page is exactly as it was saved in the template editor file (first image). When I quick add a second page the title seems to have jumped off the page (second image).

Why is this happening and if there anyway to fix this in the template so I do not have to adjust the position of the title block with the addition of each new page?

Thanks

Hi @gkore

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Most likely your insertion point needs to be set correctly.

Check out this guide that I put together, it should point you in the right direction: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/simplecontent/content/trouble...

It does seem to be in place when I follow the video and hit add page. Is there anything that I can do to adjust my template so that when I simply click the quick add the same title block position occure?

Also, in my template made in Rhino I have a BOM table that I do not want on every page yet when I delete it on one page it deletes it across all of the pages. Can I get rid of the table on say my title page with an overall isometric view yet have it on page 2 where i want to call out the materials on different components but that table to be in the exact same location every time?

Thank you so much

Hi @gkore

Apologies, I sent you the wrong link in my reply above, check this link out re insertion point: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/simplecontent/content/fixing-...

For help with the BoM Table, I would suggest that you consider "Smart Templates", here's a link to more info : https://clintbrown.co.uk/2021/04/06/quick-tip-smart-templates/

@ClintBrown3D

Appreciate the video but trying to do this just made my fusion crash and I lost 3 pages of drawings which is a bit upsetting for a Friday.

I moved the insertion point directly to the marker point (image 1) yet when I quick add another page it is offset up and to the left (image 2)

Also I am not sure what I want is doable but I do not want a smart template more my current template yet on my BOM page I have a table I can fill in manually or would it better to use the parts list?

Hi @gkore

Please send me your Fusion drawing template to take a look at, this should be pretty straightforward to get working. Also, please send me details of the table from Rhino etc. I'll get you pointed in the right direction.

You can include the link to the drawing in a reply, or if it is sensitive, feel free to send it directly to me Clint. Brown {a} Autodesk.com
