Drawing view display weirdness

When creating or moving a drawing view around in the sheet, the frame or edge of the view does not auto hide after creation or moving the cursor away. Also stays highlighted blue for no reason. Possible bug maybe?

Hi,

I can't reproduce any bugs related to the highlighted drawing viewports you are discussing. The blue is the highlighted color (meaning it's selected) and it should go away when you click on other items, or after a view is done being updated/generated.

Can you possibly make a video showing the various workflows you describe? This might help me test it in the ways you are using it.

What system are you running?

I am on an Apple MacBook Pro and HAD to upgrade again to Big Sur. So far I have found some problems in the upgrade  with some features (basic ones) not even loading up on start up. Web also shows problems from others.

My point is did you make any changes in in SYSTEM that could be the cause???

Sorry but we are talking about windows machines and drawing display issues. Are you having that problem, or would your question be better answered as a stand alone post? Sorry but I'm not sure what you are asking here.

Thanks for the video, but that only shows the problem after it begins. I was hoping to see a workflow where a drawing is created and then a view placed and then the view border mis-behaving.

But I do have more questions now.

  • What video card does Fusion think you are using?
    • Are the drivers up to date?
    • Check on the graphics diagnostic tool under Help>Support and diagnostics.

Are you using more than one monitor?

Does it happen with all drawings?

What happens if you switch design/drawing tabs? Or switch drawing sheets.
