Hi,

I'm using Fusion360 for more than year but last time it has started to crush when I'm trying to open existing or create new drawing (some pop up occurs about crash and I have sent about 10 reports). I have checked this forums and some people has the same issue na Mac but I didn't see solution. How can I try fix it? I have done clean uninstall but the issue still occurs.

Hello @Anonymous

I can see your reports in our system. We are sorry to know that you are facing these issues. Can you please provide us with some information about the system eg OS, RAM, Screen Resolution, Graphics etc. If you are using 4K monitor can you please try switching to a lower resolution screen an see if it works?

Meanwhile I will pass the reports to the development team for further investigation.

Thank you,

Best Regards

Hello @Anonymous

I have logged a ticket FDWG-13830 for the team to take a look at meanwhile.

Can you please check if there is any latest graphics driver update available on their website?

We are witnessing the cases where updating the graphics drivers are resolving issues in some cases. If you can give it a try we can eliminate that possibility.

Thank you,

Best Regards

Rohit Bapat

Hi Rohit,

as I'm using Mac it's not possible to update graphical drivers manually - the updated ones come automatically with OS updates so I think they're up to date.

I do not know how to create screencast but the Drawing module is crushing in case of opening previously created or creating new Drawing.

Hi @rohit.bapat

do we have any update for this issue? The drawing module still crushes and none of workarounds seem to be working.

Hi @Anonymous

I believe that the update which went live on the 7th of July resolves this issue. Please can you check that you are updated to the latest version of Fusion 360? On my system, I needed to update Fusion and do a reboot for all the changes to take effect.

Please let us know how you are getting on.

Hi @ClintBrown3D

my Fusion 360 has downloaded latest update today. I have restarted my Mac after installing update but issue is still exactly the same as it was. I think this update haven't helped much in my case.

I sent crash report after update.

Hi @Anonymous

I believe that we've tried everything that we can. I'm not sure that there is much more we can do on our end. Unfortunately, your system does not meet the minimum system requirements to run Fusion 360.

Having researched this hardware setup, it appears that it was released in 2011, as such I don't believe that there will be any newer graphics drivers published by Intel or Apple that will help.

Hi @ClintBrown3D

it's true, my MAC is pretty old but before april's update Fusion360 was working well. I will not buy another one just for this case so it means it's time to say goodbye to f360.
