Drawing base Bottom view flipped 180

I am having an issue with the latest version 2.0.3254, when I create a drawing from the design.

Doing everything as I had done before, I start at the center of the drawing with the front view.

I then proceed with the left, top and right.

When I do the bottom base view, it is flipped 180 and looks like the top view.

Would this be a setting change I'm missing or a bug?

Thanks for posting! I think that you are probably experiencing some issues with first vs. third angle projections - this standard will change the orientation of projected views. ISO standard drawings default to first angle projection and ASME standard drawings default to third angle - so this setting is locked in as soon as you create a drawing in Fusion. You can, however, change the default projection angle for each standard in your Preferences, as shown in the screencast below. I have also shown the difference in results between the two angle options.

One behavior I noticed with the bottom and top views is that, when projecting views, they will be layed out as if you were rotating the viewcube continuously in Fusion (as shown in the screencast). If you insert a bottom view as a base view, however, the view shown will be the same as if you were looking at the viewcube in the model workspace as shown below.w

While projecting the bottom view from the front view will give the result of rotating the viewcube, as shown below.

Thanks for the detailed response, but the screencast below will show that the top and bottom views do not match. The bottom is opposite.

Is there a reason you are using base views rather than using the Projected View button next to the base view button or are you just demonstrating the problem?

I always used the base view without issues. The Bottom base view should still be the correct display as it was before.

After using the projected view that you suggested, it works the way it should and I do like it better as all the views can be inserted much quicker than the way I was doing it.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will most likely start using it.

But, I still feel the base view has a bug with the Bottom view, as it is not working as it did before the update.

Yes @paul.clauss does address the problem in his screencast so I guess it'll get fixed. Do drawings you've already created have problems now or are they still correct. If you need a workaround for now you could create a named view with the correct orientation.

Drawings that I have already created are still the correct orientation.  If I try to add another Bottom base view, it is flipped.

Hi Mark,

When a base view is placed in a drawing, its orientation should be same as the defined as in the design. It has no relationship with the standard (ASME or ISO) or projected angle(first angle or third angle). In your model, the bottom view in the design is same as that in the drawing. It seems to me the current behavior is correct.
