Downgrade from startup license to personal license?

Anonymous

Hello,

I think I have to downgrade from startup license to the personal license.

What do I have to do, to get this done?

I have already some f360 - projects. Are they kept, if I downgrade the license?

Thanks in advance and stay healthy

Hi,

The data that you own under the account always stays there, regardless of the user license you have (trial, personal, commercial, startup).

What might change if you move into Personal is that there is some functionality you won't have access to. Check https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/personal to understand what's available on Fusion for Personal use.

ok, thank you for your answer.

So if I understand you right, all my projects will be available after downgrading, but there might be some functionality, that I loose?

At the moment, I think I can live with this.

Do I have to install a new client on my Mac, or can I just switch the license somehow?

No need to reinstall Fusion 360. When you log into Fusion 360, we take a look at your license and that defines what you see in the product. Your data is not impacted.

Once your current Startup contract expires, you can then get a Personal license here: https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/personal

Once you do this, log out of Fusion and log back in, and you will see your new status.
