Doubled up material

When i drag a item from my data panel, and break the link, it duplicates the used material in the projects Physical Material.

Is this normal even if they are the same base steel material?

It wont let me delete the duplicated one. (they both have the same name and same properties)

thanks for posting! Is the duplicated material one customly created by you? Does any error report pop out when you try to delete it (if so, could you post a screenshot of it)?

Hi.

Nope its the standard steel, just made new test items and it does this.

I dont change any material settings.

happens when you drag in a item in then break the link. check the materials of the main component and it shows it has 2 steel materials both cannot be deleted/removed
