Hello, i am having similar issues to other members in here, however have not been able to fix it.
I am using fusions personal edition and am thus limited to 10 editable files. This wouldnt be a big issue if i had more than that, but while trying and failing to save my document yesterday night, i am today left with 8 files which are saying that they are still uploading. (unable to open or click)

files were created when trying to save a document which kept erroring due to locally linked files (which werent local? and have not presented issues in the 75 revisions before this..)

I have thus far tried the following without success:

Job Status

tried clearing the job status, job status list is empty

Updating Fusion

ive updated fusion to the latest version

Offline Mode

entering offline mode and or restarting did not solve the issue

Clear Cache Data

tried clearing the cache data both online and offline

Checking for the files online in web

tried checking to see if the files are present online (and maybe deleting them there)
files arent anywhere but on my local machine.

following: https://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?caas=caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/File-stuck-in-uplo...

  • Text Command to remove the upload que

command ran successfully removing 0 from the que.

  • Manually clearing the upload que

following the guide deleting/moving files still left with the same que.

I have also tried this without success
-Launch Fusion
-Go Offline (manual switch)
-Close Fusion
-Rename the %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Neutron Platform\Options\<User ID>\login__ActiveDocuments file
For me there is no "Options" folder
-Launch Fusion
-Editable Document list should be empty

EDIT (it was in appdata not local, i found it):

%APPDATA%\Autodesk\Neutron Platform\Options\<User ID>\login__ActiveDocuments

renamed to _backup092024 for now, opening fusion 0/10 editable documents, documents are gone.
entering online mode again, they returned.

theres probably more that i tried however i may have forgotten by now.

attatched are the logs.

@Unbekannt353 Can you please try the below?

  • Launch Fusion
  • Go Offline (manual switch)
  • Close Fusion
  • Rename the %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Neutron Platform\Options\<User ID>\login__ActiveDocuments file (OR) \AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Neutron Platform\Options\<user ID> login__ActiveDocuments file
  • Launch Fusion
  • Editable Document list should be empty
  • Mark a single document editable
  • Go Online

I had the same problem this morning and this resolved my issue also. I just added "_OLD" to the end of the active documents file mentioned above and program generated a new "login_ActiveDocuments" file to replace it when I booted it up.

Thanks.

This didn´t work for me. I performed all the steps. But Fusion won´t launch without connection. So I need to reconnect to launch Fusion. Now I have 3 instead of 2 documents uploading. One with name, two without.

Edit: was wrong understanding of "manual switch"

Now my list is empty!

Worked for me!

@mojothesandman Can you please confirm if you looked for it in both locations? Also do you have the personal entitlement?

%APPDATA%\Autodesk\Neutron Platform\Options\<User ID>\login__ActiveDocuments file (OR) \AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Neutron Platform\Options\<user ID> login__ActiveDocuments file

OMG THANKS! I was stuck with 3 editable documents. Didn't get anywhere with my support case, tried ALL the steps. This is the only thing that worked.

FYI in case anyone is using a Mac and looking for the AppData folder:

  1. Open Finder from the Dock
  2. Click Go in the menu bar
  3. Select Go to Folder
  4. Type ~/Library/Application Support and press Return

This worked for me. 5 out of my 10 allowed documents were in this state. For those who may not know the appdata folder is hidden by default and must be unhidden. Big thanks from the Big Island of Hawaii, and I want to express my gratitude to Autodesk for making Fusion available at no cost to those of us who could never afford or justify a commercial license.

Same problem here. But mine keeps crashing and won't save any changes. About to bail on fusion. This is a joke. Losing days of work.

@topshagy Certainly seems like there is more going on here than just the documents. What version of Fusion are you on? Did you try the steps that I have posted in the earlier threads?

According to fusion i have the latest version. Tried updating just in case. Said I'm up to date. What's really happening more specifically is, any body I touch ends up gone without a trace when fusion crashes. And you know it does this alot. I manually save regularly as well as have autosave on every 5 minutes. I'm worried I may have exceed a limit. I have created over 1800 bodies in this design. And the timeline is very very long, almost 4 years on this . This design compared to others I have is much slower to open , save or make changes. Hangs up frequently and crashes more often. That I can usually handle. But this losing bodies and hours of work stuff is killing my motivation to continue.
