Okay, weird problem I'm running into. EITHER, the line dimension turns immediately highlight blue after entering the first digit of my dimension of line length, OR the line dimension is entered, but final dimension after clicking is off. WAY off. By orders of magnitude. This bug has made Fusion360 completely unusable. Both computer and app has been restarted. Makes no difference.

Hello,

There was an update today that is intended to fix this issue. Can you please update Fusion 360 and let us know what you think?

To receive the update:
1. Restart Fusion 360
2. Wait for the update to start, you'll see a small 1 appear on the job status icon (the clock)
3. Click on the clock icon to watch the progress
4. Click Restart when the update is ready

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.

No, actually the problem is worse now that it has updated. Now it still ignores the entry. If you try to go back a step to remove the wrong dimensioned item, the program completely crashes and sends an error report. I did confirm it had updated before I started.

Thanks for letting us know, and for sending in the crash report. Please continue sending them if it repeats.

In other posts customers report that this behavior is gone. But obviously not for you. In testing for the fix we could reproduce the problems using customer builds, and could not using the test builds, which gave us confidence we had solved all possible cases of this. This was a massive effort. There could be a hardware or workflow factor we did not detect or test for.

Can you repeat it at will? If so please make a video with Autodesk Screencast. It records the mouse clicks which are key for debugging this. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.

For anyone continuing to crash in sketch dimension workflows, a key question: Is your machine one that once was using Windows 7 for the operating system?
