Dimensions of imported design off by 10x

Hello All,

From same design as in prev. import and mesh cut failure post:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-support/what-is-objects-to-cut/m-p/13053838/highlight/true#M20...

Observing the measurement of a diameter. This is a cap for Canon DSLR body, and mechanical size will be around 40mm to 50mm. Doing a diameter measurement the numeric value returned is 439.995mm. Expecting that it 'should be' 44mm this is pretty much exactly 10x off. What am I doing wrong?

I am importing the same STL into other tool and measurement there shows reasonable  44mm.

Thanks,

Gert

Start a new design then use insert mesh to import, on the import dialog you can set the units to mm.

If you import unitless files like STL Fusion defaults to CM for the units.
