Dimensions Callouts are "out of control"

Hello,

When I enter angles into my sketches they often stretch WAY out from the body so as to force me to scroll way out to read the dimension. I have the "Show Dimension" function always turned on for this model. How to stop this? See image below. My body is that tiny thing on the right side of the dimension circle. Thanks

Please attach your model that you are showing this behavior in.   Please know it does help to see YOUR model as you have established the sketch conditions I may not be able to duplicate myself.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

I think it boils down to where you place your cursor when you are placing the angle dimension.  In my video you will see how I can restrict the extension lines by not allowing the complementary angle from developing.  I could not duplicate the dimension you show in your model for the life of me. I would love for you to create a video of the process you used to achieve that dimension.

I hope this helps!

I didn't have the audio recording. I know how to change that for next time. Note that the problem comes when I reverse the angle (e.g., from 2 degrees to 358 degrees)

If this doesn't help: Perhaps I have a global default for the size of my model space that needs decreasing?

That explains it.  You asked for the angle to be applied like that but why not put in 2 degrees instead of 358 degrees?  This would be the normal way to add an angle.  If you want to use the complement angle, I am afraid you will be stuck with the behavior.

After placing the dimension, find the number value text, left click and drag on the text, put it where you want it to be.

Might help.....

Thanks, but sometimes it is SOOOOOO far away that I am forced to zoom way out to find it. That's the problem I'm dealing with
