Dimensioning isometric views in a drawing

Anonymous
Not applicable

I need to dimension features that lie on an angled face. I've done this twice before with no issues, but recreated the drawing from scratch and am getting an error when trying to dimension my views (see the screenshots attached).

I created the views by rotating a base view (not shown) by the correct angle, then projecting that to obtain a view normal to the face I'm trying to dimension. The view to the far left has two holes in one face I need to dimension, and the view in the center has a rectangular pocket.

Since I've been able to dimension this exact part before with no problems, I'm wondering why I'm now seeing this issue. Is the no-isometric-dimensioning feature part of a recent update?

Thanks

Hi,

to my knowledge, there is currently no way to dimension the true lengths in the isometric view.
They are always the projected lengths.
Take a look at the Idea Station

How has this not been resolved! This is 4 years later!
