Dialog missing when Fusion 360 lose focus

I'm using macOS Big Sur. I found a problem with Fusion 360 pretty annoying that when I make a measurement using the measure tool, the measurement dialog will gone missing if I focus on another application.

e.g. when I try to do some calculations, which need certain dimensions from the model, I use measure tool to select what I need. Then I focus to Excel to create a formula and do my calculations. As soon as Fusion 360 loses focus, the measurement dialog box will go missing with the dimensions within it (dimensions labeled on the model will still be there).

The same applies to Browser tab, and tool path tabs (e.g. facing).

Please help. Thanks.

Hello @long.chang2 ,

Sorry for the trouble you are facing. Could you please add a quick screen cast video for the issue you are facing?

I cannot seems to reproduce the issue you mentioned.

Thanks for sharing the screen cast.

I see the issue. The workaround for this is to make Fusion full screen and shift to other apps and the dialogs won't miss. When minimise we get this behaviour, I will check with team and get back to you on this behaviour.

Thanks!

Thank you. The workaround didn't work for me. I put Fusion full screen on my external monitor and Excel on my main screen of my laptop. As soon as I click anywhere on my Excel or even my desktop, Fusion loses focus and the dialog box goes missing.

Yes. That is right. The problem was I want to type in the dimensions into Excel, which means I need the focus on the Excel cell, which makes Fusion loses it's focus, which makes the dimensions disappear, which makes me unable to put in dimensions in Excel. One workaround I'm using now is take a photo of the dialog box using my cell phone, and then work with Excel.
