I recently installed desktop connector and tried accessing my files via Command Prompt. Just for navigating through directories where I would like to keep code for my electronics design work (so everything stays at one place :)). However, the Files are not listed automatically, and only if via the Graphical Windows File Explorer, I navigate to the directory of interest, it will show the directory name in Command Prompt, but still won't show files names anyways.
Why ??, I use One Drive too as a Native Drive it works just like any other drive on my local system.
