Design History not showing up

Hello, just another design history issue... it is enabled in my preferences, it is enabled in the main tab (right click shows it), I have restarted 4 times w/o results... I am wondering if I am missing an update or some other little setting... I will appreciate your help.

First of all, please make a short screencast so ' that we can follow the action and behaviour of the screen.

that setting will only apply to newly-created designs.

Also, any neutral format designs will be translated as Direct Models, so if you've imported a STEP file, for instance, that will not have Design History enabled.

To turn on Design History in a Direct Modeling, right click on the root of the browser, and choose "Capture Design History" from the menu:
