Default workspace in preferences?

I'm going through the Fusion 360 tutorial, "Getting Started For Absolute Beginners". In lesson 7 it goes over the preferences settings and shows how to set the default workspace. I am not seeing this feature in the version of Fusion 360 I am using, 2.0.6670. Has this setting been deprecated or moved to being configure in another location?

yes, that is correct.  With the new UI, that preference has been deprecated.  See ui modernization update for details about this UI change.
