Default orientation is now Z-Up in latest version?

Has there been a change in the default orientation in Fusion 360? I know in the past Y-Up was the default.  However, I recently did a "Preferences->Restore Defaults" and I see that Z-Up is now the default as shown.  I'm asking because I'm preparing some introductory slides about Fusion 360 and may need to rewrite parts if in fact the default orientation has changed. Thanks!  - Ron G.

Yes, Z-up is the default model orientation.  However, that change happened a long time ago - several years, if I remember correctly.  You must be a long-time customer!

Ahh --- thanks for the confirmation!  I thought I was going crazy. Yes, I've been using Fusion 360 on and off as a hobbyist for about four years.  BTW, the Aug 2021 support article still says Y-Up is the default which prompted my question (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-t...).  Thanks again.

Please update the support article that states that Y Up is the default. It is dated 2/12/2024 and would appear to override your statement but I do believe that the support article is incorrect.

While some would think this is not a big deal, it has HUGE ramifications for those that prepare documentation or write books about Fusion. The graphics are wrong in those books that presume Y is still the default.
