Data Panel blank after update.

Data Panel is blank after the last update. I can load models from the file menu, although the application keeps freezing every now and then when doing anything.

Replying my own post. After "Repairing Fusion 360", full uninstall and reinstall, nothing worked. After noticing a pattern in similar posts with this issues, on a hunch I "signed off" and signed back in. The panel was restored. Note that while blank, I was still able to load my projects using File/Open 🙄

I'm having a similar issue and no matter what I do, my data panel will not load....

Yup, there is something messed up with it. I did first solve it by login off and then back in. But I now realize I have to do that every time I launch Fusion. Each time I launch, it's blank, requiring the log off/on cycle.

Anyway for you to unmark this as solved so we can get some eyes on this? I only have an educators license so I can't message support unfortunately.

For reference, I have no issues on my mac studio, or macbook, which are also running the latest version of MacOS. Logging off, uninstalling, reinstalling, nothing works.

No, I could not find a way to undo the "solved" flag. I have not tried this on my laptop yet (M2). This is happening on my desktop machine (Mac Pro 2019 - x86).

Ahhh I left that out. This is happening on my 2019 mac pro as well. I assume it's something related to the graphics card and the latest update then....

I removed the solution checkmark. Can either of you share your diagnostic log files to help our team diagnose this issue further?  https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-find-and-sh...

@gus.grubba Would you be able to provide your logs as well? We are trying to diagnose the problem and another set of logs might help find the common issue here.

I had tried uploading when you first asked but I kept getting: ".zip" files not allowed.

Anyway, it worked now. See attached.

Hi Guys,  can you try following command and let us know if this is fixing issue:

DataPanel.url /default

If this won't fix this issue, please help us with following steps:

1. Give DataPanel.status command

2. Step 1 will return path of "data_view_rel.html". If possible can you send us screenshot of contents of folder where "data_view_rel.html" present.

Thanks in advance !!

Nothing changed when running the command other than showing the path as you mentioned:

DataPanel.url /default
DataPanel URL : file:////var/folders/vt/ysdcsvzj1nq0tn6n3wf1f_ym0000gn/T/Neutron/0f5cc672-14a6-4638-975e-bd9c493b031c/data_view_rel.html

The contents of that folder:

~ % ls -l /var/folders/vt/ysdcsvzj1nq0tn6n3wf1f_ym0000gn/T/Neutron/0f5cc672-14a6-4638-975e-bd9c493b031c

You can run the DataPanel.url /default command on the Text commands panel (File options --> View --> Show Text Commands).

We are currently investigating to re-produce this issue on our end on priority, meanwhile could you please check if the steps mentioned for Data panel is white in solutions section of this doc help resolving the issue.

I went to go gather the info and my data panel was working. Since it was, I did not run the default command and just grabbed the other output.

Between then and now, I formatted my boot disk and reinstalled everything from scratch. I just finished installing Fusion and it all seems to be working. Same computer, no change in hardware. Just a fresh install of the OS (I had wiped Fusion and reinstalled it earlier, before this radical move, with no changes). I also noticed that with this new install from scratch, I ended up with a new version of Fusion so I can’t tell what fixed it.
