cutting two bodies

Hi. I am trying to build a bowl by cutting two bodies, each with a different color. But the result is a bowl with one color. I intend to get a two-color bowl. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Thank you.

If I cut, the 2 colors stay, but with swivel command, only one color stay.

Thank you

If I cut the colors stay.

In a swivel command, the colors disappear.

Hi,

If you share the file there would be a chance to analyze the situation and give hints to possible solutions.

Thank you. I understand.

But it doesn't resolve my problem.

My goal is to CNC wood in shapes to get a nice colors appearance from 2 or
more wood layers from different colors.

I want to CNC shapes on the wood layers and the glue them and then CNC
again.

Shapes like that for example

If I cut, it is working well, but swivel is "deleting" the colors.

Can I maintain the colors with swivel command?

Thank you very much for your time

With best regards

Thank you.

It is good to know that it is possible.

But for an unknown reason for me, I see only one color, with my Fusion with your file.

I can't figure it out, why it is so? please look here down.

Thank you very much

Try this:

DisplayComponentColors.png

This is a tool used to quickly make objects more visible when working on a document; I imagine it was likely turned on because the wood textures were difficult to see sketch objects and surface bodies through.

@baloshUSCM9

Did you mark this issue as solved?

Is it really solved?

First thing I notice is that there are no dimensions in your Sketch1?

Hi

That was only a test case in order to see what can be done.

Now, thanks to your help, I know what to do.

I will draw more complex shapes in order to find a nice CNC body.
