Cursor lag in sketch mode

Hi, yesterday I began having severe lag when trying to sketch basic shapes. I have never had this issue before as my computer is quite robust. In the video you can see the lag as well as fusion's strain on  my system.  I have no other projects or software open. Fusion as well as my two rtx 3080  cards are up to date. I even tried a fresh install, but it didn't solve the issue. Opengl seems to make it even worse, so I've stuck with auto-select or DirectX 11. Again, I've never had this issue even on larger projects so I don't know what to do. I've looked at previous cursor lag threads, but none of the advice has worked for me. If anyone has advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

EDIT: I uploaded a new video because I realized you couldn't see the cursor in the original

UPDATE: I’ve narrowed the lag down to using a Wacom tablet while working. Normally I use a Wacom pen instead of a mouse and never had an issue until now. The tablet doesn’t have any lag in other programs, such as photoshop, so I’m not entirely sure what could’ve changed in an update to cause the issue. Has anyone else run into lag issues when using a tablet?

Hi, same problem for me since fusion update. I use an XP-Pen tablet and doesn't have any problem with photoshop , Clip Studio Paint or any program.

It worked fine on fusion 360 before.

No problem with mouse, only with tablet

Hi

I just tried using my tablet in fusion on my Mac and there was no noticeable lag so this looks to be a windows related issue. Hopefully someone will comment on what may have changed in the latest fusion update to cause. Until it’s resolved I’m unable to use fusion on a PC.

I still haven’t figured out what the issue is that’s causing it, but I suspect it has to do with windows ink. I tested fusion 360 on my Mac with my Wacom tablet and there’s no lag.

I had the same problem since yesturday after updating Fusion360. Since the update the movement of the Cursor via XP-Pen is very slow, mouse behaviour is normal. Has anyone solved the Problem?

I could never get this fixed and ended up switching to a Mac. I really don’t know what the cause of the issue is, but it’s pretty frustrating. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

hi,

problem still here for me too. I found a fix with my XP-Pen tablet :

You need to desactivate windows ink in XP-Pen App

It works for me

Seeing your experiences in my thread let me narrow down this long running issue on my side, with my Logitech gaming mouse; it seems the polling rate of an input device can cause lag if too high. When I have my polling rate set to 1000 reports per second, I encounter the heavy cursor lag, but at 125 reports a second, I do not.
