Cura 4.8 will not slice

when I try to slice any file in Cura 4.8 it just keeps slicing but if I uninstall fusion 360 it works just fine anyone else have this problem?

I've been using Cura 4.7.1 without any issues. I click on the component or body in the browser tree, right click, select "Save as STL", save and immediately open in Cura. I'm able to slice and save gcode without even closing Fusion360.

They appear to both be built with Qt5, so maybe there is an environment variable getting set? Can you try installing one or both for "Current user only" instead of "All users", if that is an option. The other thing to try is to log in as another person and install one of the apps in that "workspace".
