Creating Dimensioned Drawings With Representative Values or Variables

I'd like to create an instructional drawing that illustrates mathematical relationships between dimensions rather than actual measurements. For example, I might show two concentric circles, the outer one's diameter indicated as "A", the inner circle's diameter indicated as "B (A * .90)". I need a nice looking print when I'm done. Any suggestions or methods are as always appreciated.

Hi,

From what I understand by your question, you do not need actual parametric relationships between these measurements, but just want to represent in on the print. So here is what you can do, create dimensions as usual, then double click on the dimension value to edit it, backspace/delete and enter the characters you need. It looks something like this:
