All parts in the frame belong under the same parent-component. I made drawings for several of the parts, and afterwards rembered i had to add the wingnut/screw circled in blue. When i added this new component and refreshed my drawings file, this new screw and head was added to every single instance and view of all components i had made drawings of.Capture.PNGWhen creating a drawing i right click on the component i want to make a drawing of and click create drawing. This makes it so only the selected component is shown in the drawing. This is what that looks like:

However when i add a new component, fusion seems to ignore this and adds it to every drawing of every component with the same parent. Components that don't have the same parent are unaffected.

I was able to recreate this with a new file. I placed one component, selected it, and made a drawing. Then I made a new component and refreshed the drawing. Suddenly the new component was added to the drawing, even though I never selected it.

This is not some niche bug, I feel like I should be able to expect that drawings won't get completely ruined just because I added a new component. Is there some way to work around this without having to remake every single drawing and view every time I add a new component?

I found the solution: I can hide the new component in the dropdown menu in the drawing file.
