Can anybody help?

Is the following possible with Fusion 360?

Say I have created a simple part that is going to be laser cut (say a rectangle with a few holes)

Can I create a new part and reference (insert) the laser cut part, as shown above, then add a couple of tapped holes and a chamfered edge??

this is similar to a derived part as already available inside Inventor.

Many thanks in advance!

Yes.
Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply if you can’t figure it out.

Did you try using Derive in Fusion? It's available on the insert menu and the create menu. Should do what you're asking about.
