Coordinates Text input

when beginning a line, spline, circle etc. or when moving/placing objects to a position - how can i input the coordinates per text command ? I cannot find this anywhere ? Auto Cad , Rhino etc all have it. Without its only by clicking and this cannot be real for a good CAD Program ? So what i miss -where is it ?

Best Regards

Chris

In Sketch mode you are prompted for the value,

Circle click centre point, drag for size, there is a text box with current value highlighted in blue, confirm or edit, your choice,

Rectangles, two text boxes, tab to jump to the other one.

Modelling area the dialogue boxes will take your values.

Best there is, when in Rome you become an Italian sooner or later.

Fusion uses dimensions and offsets values.

THis appears,

but when choosing in sketch mode point, line circle i do not want to click, i like to directly write the starting coordinate as test in the box like in Autocad, Solidworks, Rhino.

Im very confused where this option is.
Choose line in sketch mode ->click to place first point -> entering in text box 0.0.0 shows theres no command
By just clicking theres no possibility to make it accurate and its time consuming, so then Fusion would be useless.

Not in Fusion, no option but to use dimensions.

Don’t like Italy?  Back to Autocad then.

Oops, nearly forgot, you can import coordinate points for splines in CSV format.

Might help...

What do you want to design?

I recommend that you research the BORN Technique used in MCAD.
