Construct Plane Through 3 Points Constructs Plane Not Through Points

I select three vertical points (along Z) as shown in screenshot and tell it to construct the plane, then create a sketch, but the sketch ends up on the XY plane.

What is going on? Is this just another of Fusions dozens and dozens of bugs?

Hi,

From the screenshot it is not clear on which plane the highlighted line is located.

Please share the file.

Turns out this one wasn't a bug, just Fusion's inexcusably bad error reporting.

Eventually it gave me an error that the three points were colinear, which I guess makes sense as an issue.

Why aren't things like bug reporting a priority for Autodesk? I've never seen a company less responsible for their software — particularly when the core of the software is beautiful. But Autodesk's outer core is the worst I have ever seen. I am pretty sure Autodesk hires game theory experts to ensure that no matter what someone thinks is an intuitive solution, it won't work.

Hi,

Thanks for calling out the error handling messages. When I tried the workflow, I saw this appear. Are the red icons and warnings appearing in this part of your screen? If not, there may be a bug we should look at here.
