Connect two points.

I want to draw a line at an angle to connect to another line.  So draw a lie from the center at 45 degrees left of center say 5 inches line.  now draw a line from the center straight up at 90 degrees 12 inches long.  Now I want to draw a line from the top point of the 12 inch line down to the left such that the line touches the 5 inch line at its end.  When I do this the line crosses into the circle end point which I think is the correct position.  But when I finish the line and zoom in close I see that the lines are off a small amount.

I thought that a x would show up to indicate that the lines were touching.

Am I doing this wrong?

I'd love to show it in as screencast.  But I keep getting html error when posting a screencast.

Just attach the link.  Do not worry about embedding it.

Here is the link.  If you notice the third line does not touch the end of the first line.  No x no square showed.

Thanks I should have known that was the way to fix my problem.  I have one more question.  When the two lines were in coincident.  The little circle at that point went away.   But the little circle was still at the end of the third line.  I tried to set the dimension of the line.  But the little circle was still there.  What does that circle mean?

Thanks again for you help.

white dot > open & not defined

black dot > open  &  defined by dimensions
