Configuring the tool bar

Is there a way to remove unwanted sections from the tool bar?  I will never use automate and would really like to regain the lost efficiency by getting a useful tool back on the tool bar.

Have you explored other customizable areas such as hotkeys, the Shortcuts tool, or the right click menu?
