Component assembly

Hi, i'm trying to find the correct/best way to position a number of components - tried joints but seems like it need 2 on the same component body which does work.

I want to have the roof slats sitting on the curved sidewall at the top end of each slat and the other end on top of the lower slat. - sorry difficult to describe. its for roof slats on a birdbox.

I created the powerpoint picture to show what the end vire would look like and the red circles showing the contact points.

Any ideas most welcome

Thanks

Attached is a video showing my method of adding your singles.  I created a simple assembly to demonstrate the process on and it is attached for your inspection.

I would do this design very differently.

Using arc in place of the spline would make manufacturability easier and as a bonus you could Circular Pattern all of the shingles except for the first one.

Let me know if you would like to investigate alternative modeling techniques.

Since this assembly is not a motion mechanism - the components can be modeled from a single sketch in body position and Grounded.

Thankyou, this has certainly given me a different way of approaching the design. Appreciate you time on this.
