You can project the elements into a new sketch.
But: What do you want to achieve?

Can you save as a different experiment file name, delete all the extraneous stuff (especially the linked components) and then Attach the *.f3d component in question here?

I suspect an improvement in modeling technique will remedy the issue on this project and all future projects.
