Combine with cut fails for mirrored target

The screenshot shows the operation, but it fails.  As a test,  the "tool" will cut thru as it should on two components and a hole using the hole tool works fine on the mirrored component.

Hi,

If I have understood it correctly, Body 2 must be used as a tool for cutting.
I took Bodies 1+2 in the screencast.

The tool component had an extrude that should have been a Join (vs a New Body).  Didn't intend to create two bodies.
