Changing Dimensions

Anonymous
Not applicable

Having followed the following tutorial:

http://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?guid=GUID-3C4D29F6-11D6-4AAC-8F08-8EAF1B780909

I tried to double click on the dimension 158 to change it to 152. Unfortunately it did not react. As you can see from the attachment the text is not as strong as the one I put recently and perhaps therefore cannot be modified. I would like to change this dimension.

It is my understanding that it may be in a different sketch. I tried all four sketches but it is always greyed out. As for sketches, I can see that they can be advantageous in complicated designs. but I just want a simple design so I do not see why everything cannot be put in one sketch so that I can insert, delete and modify anything I desire.

I could not even delete the circle and do it again.

I attach a screenshot and an exported file. (Sorry, I could not find any camera.)

Thank you.

Open the file,

escded.PNG

click the sketches down arrow

click on dimension 158, and the sketch that owns that dimension will be highlighted with breadcrumb underline.

Edit that sketch, edit that dimension.

Might help....
